Wednesday, May 28, 2003 The days just creep by... ugh. Work is crappy still; I didn't come home in a good mood yesterday, so I am trying my best to get pumped for tonight. I may hate it, and may think it's pretty worthless, but I should still try and do a good job. Sigh. Well, I did go to Becca's on Monday and I did have a good time. Yay. It was fun. And I got to talk to Jeremy for about an hour yesterday. <3 Yay yay. After running errands all over today (and STILL forgetting to buy that STUPID comic book price guide...) I get to go to work again. First I have to eat something... even though I'll probably be sent on 'break' about half an hour after I get there. I HATE that. I'm not even ready for a break then. I need one three hours later, when people are stepping in and doing my job 'cuz I suck at it and it makes me want to cry. THAT's when I want a break. I've enjoyed my three days off so far, and am wishing I didn't have to go back to 'hot dog duty' again tomorrow. Oh well. Jeremy was off in North Carolina at a conference; he called me Friday evening, I think, and was having an okay time. It was good to hear from him. <3 He' probably on his way back to Missouri right now, or getting ready anyway. I shouldn't be online too long, in case he tries to call! (: I hope I hear from him soon, I miss him! I got to see Becca and Dan yesterday. (: We didn't do much, just sat around and talked while we watched TV. But it's always nice to see them. Later today I might go over again for lunch. I gotta get my room cleaned, though... sigh. So I should get to it! I was on 'hot dog duty' for 6 hours and my feet are killing me. :P It's not the most fun I've ever had, but the people I worked with were pretty nice. My boss asked me to come back at 11 tomorrow... so now I have to take Mom into work again, at 8:15, and then come home and get ready for work at 11... sigh... Oh well. I was hoping I wouldn't have to be up this early, but I had to drive Mom into work, on account of me needing the car around 4 to get to MY new job: An A&W cook. :P Sounds a bit fun, though. I'm sure it's going to be god-awful-hot back there, and being the newbie is always crappy... but it'll only be for a little while. I get a cool A&W t-shirt, too. Pow. So I get to spend the day being lazy, maybe straightening my room up, getting ready for our street-wide yard sale, before my first day a "the A". Awesome. I got to talk to Jeremy yesterday. <3 It was a surprise, I thought he'd already be really really busy. I guess that'll all start today. Some of his friends must have brought laptops because about 3 people he's with are online every time I sign on AIM. But that's cool, maybe I can keep in touch. Oh... yeah, he's off in North Carolina at NACURH, a Residence Hall program. He got really involved in this stuff a couple years ago, and now he gets to go on these cool trips to gorgeous states... and I sit here and miss him. ): Not a big deal! I tried using space on my Geocities site, but apparently I have 'exceeded daily bandwidth' (though I can find no information on 'bandwidth' on the Blogger site...) and should check back after midnight. Well, yeah... done that. And--unless I've suddenly attracted an army of visitors to my site who keep sucking up my bandwidth--it just ain't working. So, I GIVE UP. ...for now. In other news, I came home from Iowa/Missouri today. Jeremy graduated and I went to visit him for a few days. I had a really nice time, despite the fact that I lost about 20 of my most precious CD's on the Greyhound this morning... I'm slowly getting over it. I enjoyed seeing his family again, and they seem to be warming up to me. (: Not that they were ever mean or anything at all... I guess I just feel like I'm starting to be one of the family. (: >SAP!< Ah well, it was fun. It's good to be home though, so I can re-attack this mess of my bedroom that has been slowly growing since I moved into it. There should be a street-wide sale the last weekend of May, and hopefully I can get rid of a lot of this garbage! ...As long as I can make myself let go. :P So, there... my frist 'real' post.
